Ok then, for our first day off we went to Mt. Rushmore for breakfast. They have a special there called the 'Monumental'. Yea, it is. Bisquits with gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and hash brown potatoes. YUUUUMMMMY. After breakfast we took the Presidential walk. The walk goes up close and personal with the four greats. It is really beautiful. I think it is about 1.5 mile. All on decking with steps. We decided to take the audio tour for $5.00 you get all the history behind the building of the monument, the people who worked on it and sculptor. Really interesting and worth the trip. Hill City was having their graduation ceremony in the amiptheater also. They had about 40-50 grads. Nice!
It finally rained here last night. It has been pretty dry. But boy, does the temperature fluctuate. Tuesday it was near 90, today only in the low 50's. What is up with that??
